Your children may be reaching the age where they
need a sense of their own beginnings. For this
reason, we are offering families an opportunity to
return to China and to the orphanage where their
family stories began.
You can help your children see China through the
eyes of confident sons and daughters. Together you
can hear the sounds and smell the aromas that are
part of your child's earliest memories. Together you
can explore the connection between past and present.
Visit the Forbidden City and walk on the Great Wall
together. Ride the overnight train to Xian to see
the terra cotta warriors. Hug a panda and take lots
of pictures as you continue to make multi-cultural
memories as a family.
Help care for babies at the CHI Hope Center. Your
children can see how they were cared for as they
waited for your loving arms. Your child will offer
hope to those children who still wait. The Hope
Center children will offer a solid sense of origin
to your child.
Visit the capital city where you first met your
child. Talk about your joy in adopting her as you
stay in the hotel where you were first united. Let
your child share her impressions as you visit the
site where she was found.
As with your adoption trip, your family will travel
with CHI staff as trusted guides. All in-country
travel and hotels will be arranged for you. You need
only arrange your international flight to China and
home again. Once you arrive, you can relax and focus
on your family's enjoyment. |
